Summer Fun Checklist

Since I have the summers off, there are a few things I want to do with the boys (especially C, since he's at a fun age). So far, we're not doing so hot with our list. With Cory working crazy hours I'm a little too intimidated to bring a 2 year old and a 5 month old to places like the Zoo by myself. That being said, here's a list of things we need to do this summer.

• Botanical Gardens
• Museum of Transportation
• Eckerts for peach picking
• The Muny
• Ted Drewe's

Butterfly House--where we got married!

The Zoo

Susson Park

Right now, with a husband that is working a ton and temperatures of 110 degrees, our days consist of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and playing trucks inside...here's to hoping that changes soon!

Taking the Plunge

I've considered blogging for a long time. Like really long. I've even "started" two blogs, but never even created a post. This time I hope it sticks. 

What am I blogging for? That's a grand question. Sanity. Clarity. Memories. Fun. Interaction. All of the above and I'm sure there are a million more reasons. 

Who am I? I'm a mom to two boys. Love it. I'm a 7th grade Reading teacher. I'm a wife and a friend. I'm a Pinterest crafter-wannabe. I'm an aspiring cook. I'm addicted to Reality TV and Real Housewives of all over. 

I'm hoping this is an outlet for me. I can blog about my boys, my ideas for my classroom, my aspirations for crafting and cooking. Mostly cooking. Probably desserts. 

It'll be a fun endeavor. Wish me luck.
